Nova for Windows can display the brightest 1,600 stars (down to Magnitude 5) on its Radar Map and Sky Temperature map.  Each star may be identified by placing the mouse cursor over it.  In addition, constellations are plotted to help in identifying regions of the sky. 

The Radar map may also be plotted with East-West reversed so that it will appear oriented correctly for viewing the sky.  Satellite paths can be highlighted during times when the satellite is potentially visible by eye.
