Hello all.
Iam getting statrted in amateur satellite operation and have constructed a home made rotor system.
The interface is FODtrack with homebrew motor drivers.
Iam using Nova for Windows to control the whole thing and it seems to work except for the elevation.
The FODtrack interface requires a feedback signal of 0 to 5 volts+ dc. this is generated using a potentiometer and a pendulum .
The pendulum delivers this signal in 360 deg. of rotation, howevr Nova seems to want only 180 deg. of rotation.
This requires that for every 1 deg. of elevation the potentiometer must move 2 deg. this makes the system unstable and it oscillates.
Is there a way to configure Nova to work with my system?
Any help would be appreciated.
Paul.
