Michael,
I've just installed the V2.2b 45 update, and continue to have the following
problem:
On first starting NOVA, the time in the status bar is INCORRECT.
NOVA Time settings are:
- Computer Time: "Use Windows Settings"
- Display Time: "Local Time" (24 hour)
At present, local time is 7:03 pm on Friday 27th.
- On first starting, Nova displays "06:03" on the 27th. (Which is the
current UTC time)
- After opening and closing "Setup/Time" dialog, Nova changes to the correct
19:03 on the 27th.
At all times, the position of plotted sats does not change, and they appear
correct, so the issue relates only to the status display line, not the
actual plotting engine.
This issue only seems to happen during Daylight Saving.
I live in New Zealand, and normally we are UTC+12 Hours.
*** During Daylight Saving, New Zealand is UTC+13 Hours. ***
The setting within "Setup/Time" "Local offset from UTC" only supports from
-12.0 to +12.0, so maybe there is some internal bounds checking for +13?
Regards,
Jim.
