Michael R. Owen is Senior System Engineer at the Sensis Corporation. He received the Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Illinois at Urbana in 1984. Currently, he applies techniques of precision time transfer, GPS integrity monitoring, and remote sensing to air traffic control systems. First licensed in 1969, he has been active in VHF/UHF weak-signal and satellites with special emphasis on EME (moonbounce). He was a main operator at the VE3ONT 46m (150') dish EME tests. C.J. Knickerbocker is Professor of Mathematics and
Computer Science and formerly Vice President for Information
Technology at St. Lawrence University. He received the
Ph.D. in mathematics from Clarkson University in
1984. His academic specialty is nonlinear differential equations and computer science. Dr.
Knickerbocker has published articles in nonlinear waves, graph theory, experimental
physics and psychology. He has also made numerous contributions to textbooks on
differential equations and consults widely for various government agencies.
